Entertaining at The Thirteen
Every Wednesday in the summer from June-September between 5:30-7:30 pm, you can enjoy discounted drinks and appetizers at a variety of bar/restaurants all over Center City Philly. The hump day event is called the Center City Sips, which most of Philly participates in by providing things like free parking and sometimes free food. You can definitely get happy hour any day, anywhere, but the best place to come is the The Thirteen, the downtown Marriott’s restaurant off of their Terrace. I’ll be there every Wednesday (and Fridays in July) crooning you with my acoustic guitar. I’ve only played there a handful of times, but as a musician I love the ambiance of the restaurant, and the summer weather is perfect for chillin outdoors. Not only that but the staff is amazing and there are always random passer-bys who stop to listen to the music. I love it! The more the merrier, so consider coming out!I will be there all summer.
