I just got back from my friends house. Dave Duncan was the producer on If I Fall and mostly did all the instrumentation. It’s wild to see people so in love with God. They are so ordinary yet powerful in spirit. They are not tied to any religion at all but worship at a non-denominational church. I was raised thinking that any truth outside of the Adventist church was not truth at all. And in these two simple people I find all the Christian attributes many of my SDA leaders strive for….
“Clean living before God and justice with our neighbors mean far more to God than religious performance.”
At least that’s what proverbs 21:3 says. If there is no truth outside the church well what are the other million Christians doing with their time? Hmm, it must be a riddle I’m missing the answer to… Silly me.
